Objectives
- Deploy Smart Ocean Monitoring Systems around key marine areas to collect real-time data on water quality, marine biodiversity, and illegal fishing activities.
- Launch Community-Driven Marine Innovation Labs in Zanzibar City and Pemba to promote local capacity building in BlueTech and conservation entrepreneurship.
- Implement Ocean CleanTech Solutions, such as AI-enabled plastic collection drones and biodegradable fishing gear.
- Support Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) with geofencing and satellite surveillance tools.
- Establish a Blue Economy Accelerator Program for youth-led startups focused on sustainable marine solutions.
